Board of Trustees

Brian Tanzola
Chairman
btanzola@swbell.net

Brian has been a member of Highpoint since 2010, and has served on the Worship Team since that time. He and his wife, Michelle, have been married for four years and have three children. Brian was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2016 as Secretary, and he has been blessed to participate in a variety of other ministries through the years. Highpoint will always hold a special place in the heart of the Tanzola family, as Brian and Michelle were married by—and their family was baptized with—their church family.

Jeanne-Mari and Mike were married in 1994 and have a really cool & feisty 17-year-old daughter, Melissa, a recent graduate from the Texas Academy of Math & Science. They enjoy working in the yard, reading, and spending time with family.

Connie Smith

Connie Smith is our Board Treasurer. She and her husband Bill met at the World Wide Church of God, were married on July 12, 1986, and moved to Leander, Texas in September of 1990 to help take care of Bill’s parents in their older age. They started attending Highpoint in August of 2008, and were happy that their children could be a part of the youth group. Since that time, they have raised 3 children and currently have 5 grandchildren, some of which live close by and attend Highpoint as well! Connie has helped serve in children’s ministry, and with “Faith in Action” (she especially loves the ‘Free Garage Sale’). She is currently serving as a Shepherd, a Stephen Minister and a Trustee. Connie works full time as a Communications Operations Tech for a company in Round Rock, where she has been employed for 13 ½ years.
