Leadership
HighPoint’s leadership structure includes four teams who work together for the health of the church. Each is like a leg on a four-legged stool. Shepherds provide spiritual guidance, compassionate care and teaching. Staff provides service, leadership and planning. The Board of Trustees are responsible for the administrative and financial business of the church. The Ministry Team provides focus on our five Biblical purposes. Vision for the church comes from all four groups.
Staff
- Senior Pastor: Randy Fenter
- Community & Youth Pastor: Mike Horton
- Worship Pastor: Paul Wayland Lee
- Children’s Pastor: Andy Adkins

Randy Fenter has been serving as senior pastor for HighPoint Fellowship since 1999 when God called Randy and Karen to join a small group of loving people who were meeting in an abandoned office building by the rock quarry on Lime Creek Road. His love for reading, music, movies, gardening and nature fall well behind his love for his family. Randy and Karen were newlyweds upon arrival in Cedar Park, both previously widowed. They made a new move, a new ministry and a new marriage in the same month! (“We’re not too bright!” say both.) Randy and Karen share five children (all five with wonderful spouses) and eight grandchildren. They thank God every day for the blessing of HighPoint Fellowship – a home of help, hope and healing.

Mike Horton has been serving as youth pastor along with his wife at HighPoint Fellowship since 1999. Beginning in 2013, Mike is adding the role of Community Pastor, developing relationships in Cedar Park and Leander and the surrounding area to impact our community for Christ. He and his amazing wife Jeanne-Mari have a jaw-droppingly beautiful daughter named Melissa. They enjoy riding bikes, reading, playing in the street, and eating Frosties at Wendy’s.

Paul Wayland Lee has been serving as worship pastor along with his wife Sheri at HighPoint Fellowship since 2004. Paul leads the worship team, does graphic design, and performs “other duties as assigned.” He loves his family, music, reading and watching sports. He and his fabulous wife have 4 tremendous kids – Becca, Josh, Cassie & Grace.

Andy Adkins heads a team of committed volunteer leaders who are each using their unique talents and gifts to bless the ministry. Andy is a former youth and outreach pastor for churches in Virginia and Tennessee. Andy and his wife Patti have been at HighPoint for years and joined the staff in 2008.
Shepherds
Shepherds at HighPoint are not administrators; they are spiritual mentors. Their primary ministry is prayer and showing the Word in helping our family deepen and grow spiritually.
A shepherd is a willing and trustworthy servant who is attentive to the needs of the flock and equips them for ministry. He is vigilant and quick to defend the Father’s sheep. As one who walks intimately with the Lord, he provides wise counsel. A shepherd has a welcoming spirit and is full of joy and grace. He gives generously of his time and possessions. He is a committed and respected leader of his family and well thought of in his community.
