Highpoint has many ministries that can help you connect –

to Highpoint, to one another, and to God.

The Table

The Table

The Table is our Wednesday night weekday gathering and small group time. Our spring semester will kick off on Wednesday, January 4th. from 6-8pm. At this event, you may spend time with other Highpoint folks, meet our small group leaders, and enjoy a meal together. Each Wednesday following, we will meet from 6-8pm for a light meal together, then have a time as a large group for prayer or worship, before moving into our small group time. During this time, we have childcare available for our toddlers, Bible classes for our pre-K through 5th graders, and our Youth group meeting for middle and high schoolers.

The heart behind The Table is to gather together to be fed spiritually while growing together through classes and study. Sign up for one of the upcoming Spring classes by filling out the form at the bottom of the page.

Building a Christian Worldview

Taught by Fred Visser & Brian Short

“Apologetics in 12 weeks” will discuss the importance of a Biblical worldview, why we can trust the Bible, and how to answer the skeptical questions of this age. We’ll discuss theology, history, philosophy, and a bit of geology as we grow in trust toward God’s word, so that we can “always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15).

Deuteronomy: The Love of God in His Promises

Taught by Trevor Akin & Ben Coppenger

After an unfaithful generation has wandered in the wilderness, God reminds his people of his unchanging love and faithfulness by reviewing his promises and expectations with them on the edge of the promised land. Join us as we reflect on God’s grace and love, and consider what God required of his covenant people long ago means for followers of Jesus today.

Galatians: The Words of an Anguished Apostle

Taught by Randy Fenter & Gino Pena

In this study we will go through the book of Galatians and the lives of Paul and Christ. In the wake of the ascension of Christ, as Paul assembled and spread the message he was met with resistance by the Jewish establishment. People were converting to Judaism which left Paul and Christ displaced and persecuted. We will discuss how Paul fights back against this establishment and spreads the message of the Gospel.

Women’s Study: Epic of Eden: Psalms

Taught by Jenny Davis & Gretchen Allan

This semester we will be offering a women’s study for the first time as we explore a study in the Psalms. Experience fresh connections to contemporary worship and devotional practices in this video-based study of Psalms with Bible scholar Sandra Richter.

Prayer Time

There will also be a time and space for open and guided prayer, as we pray for Highpoint, the church universal, one another, our world, and specific requests.

Areas To Get Involved

If you would like to volunteer to help with this weekly experience, there are many ways to serve!  We need willing hands each week to help with set up and cleanup. We are also in need of volunteers who would like to help with the kids’ program (training and support will be provided). This is a wonderful opportunity to pour into the next generation and serve young families. If interested in these service opportunities, please contact us at office@hpf.org.

At High Hopes Preschool, we want to create a place for young children to experience God’s love and explore His wonderful world while providing families with a place of help, hope and healing.

High Hopes Preschool is a play-based, licensed, private program for children 2 to 5 years of age, offering flexible enrollment options ranging from 2 to 5 days a week.  School starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. each day.  The school year runs from September through May.  High Hopes Preschool follows the Leander ISD calendar for all holidays and closures.

Connection Ministries

Welcome and Kitchen Teams

Welcome Team members welcome guests warmly, providing refreshments, assist in getting children to class and in finding a seat in the worship center, and answering questions. Others fix coffee in the kitchen, give guests a tour of the building, and straighten up lobby and restrooms before each service.  Working in the Welcome Ministry is a job where a smile is your greatest asset. Would you like to join this team? Please email office@hpf.org to get more information or to volunteer.
