Family: Brandon grew up in Southern California, but loves being a Texan. He met his wife Crystal at a college bible study and were married in 2004 after being friends and dating for almost 4 years. They have 4 amazing kids- Micah, Noah, Isaiah, and Harley.

Education: Brandon graduated with his B.A. in Biblical Studies/Theology from Azusa Pacific University, and his M.A. in World Missions/Evangelism from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Favorite Food/Restaurant: Brandon loves tacos, sausage, and wings, and never met a chocolate chip cookie he didn’t like! His favorite restaurants are: Pinthouse Pizza, Torchy’s, Moonie’s, Blue Corn Harvest, and 600 Degrees.

Favorite Music/Artist: His favorite bands are: All Sons and Daughters, Walk Off the Earth, First Aid Kit, The Tallest Man on Earth, The Dubliners, Mumford & Sons, Yellowcard, Led Zeppelin, Dave Matthews Band, Fall Out Boy, Future of Forestry, and Zac Brown Band.

Favorite Books: Captains Courageous – Rudyard Kipling, Les Miserables – Victor Hugo, Telling Secrets – Frederick Buechner, Jayber Crow – Wendell Berry, Screwtape Letters – C.S. Lewis, The Hobbit – J.R. Tolkien, Death by Living – N.D. Wilson, You Are What You Love – James K.A. Smith, and Surprised by Hope – N.T. Wright.

Favorite Sports Team: Brandon tells his kids that if they don’t root for the Angels, they sleep outside! His teams are: Los Angeles Angels (Baseball), Notre Dame (NCAA Football), Austin FC (MLS), Chicago Bears (Football).

Bible verse: Lamentations 3:21-24 “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness, ‘The LORD is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in Him.'”

Something most people don’t know about him: Brandon spent many years serving the Lord as a missionary in Turkey and has traveled to over 20 different countries.

Why does he love Highpoint? Brandon loves the way the Highpoint family loves one another and how on his first day on the job he knew without a doubt that he was loved and accepted as one of the family (even if he was from California).
